This print was created with one, round hand carved bock used over and over again. Each print is unique unto itself as the pressure, consistency of the ink and temperature all plays a factor. I wanted to create a unique print to commemorate the 2024 eclipe. 
 
Block printed on Japanes fawn rice paperr with
Windsor & Newton Water Based Relief Ink.
 
Each edition is unique unto itself due to the randomness of the printing process. 
Each of these abstract, monochramtic products in the Scorparium series is a
connection to the simpleness of form seen in the natural world.
